ସେଠାରେ ସେ ଏକ ଗଛ ମୂଳେ ଲୁଚିଥିବା ୧୮ ଇଞ୍ଚର ଏକ ଛୋଟ ବାଘ ଛୁଆ ପାଇଲେ ଏବଂ ତାକୁ ଘରକୁ ନେଇ ଆସିଲେ ।

ଜେଜେମା (Grandmother) ସେହି ବାଘ ଛୁଆର ନାମ "ଟିମୋଥି" (Timothy) ରଖିଲେ ।

୨. ଟିମୋଥିର ଲାଳନପାଳନ ଓ ସାଙ୍ଗମାନେ (Timothy's Upbringing & Companions)

ଟୋଟୋ (Toto): ଏକ ମାଙ୍କଡ଼, ଯିଏ ଟିମୋଥିର ଲାଞ୍ଜ ଟାଣି ବଦମାସି କରୁଥିଲା ।

ଏକ କୁକୁର ଛୁଆ (A Mongrel Puppy): ଯାହା ପିଠିରେ ଟିମୋଥି ଆରାମରେ ବସୁଥିଲା । 

ଟିମୋଥି ଲେଖକଙ୍କୁ ବହୁତ ଭଲ ପାଉଥିଲା ଏବଂ ବିରାଡ଼ି ଭଳି ନିଜ ପଞ୍ଝାରେ ମୁହଁ ସଫା କରୁଥିଲା । ସେ ରୋଷେଇଆ 'ମହମୁଦ' (Mahmoud) ର କ୍ୱାଟରରେ ଶୋଉଥିଲା ।

୩. ବ୍ୟବହାରରେ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ (Change in Behavior)

ଟିମୋଥିକୁ ଯେତେବେଳେ ୬ ମାସ ବୟସ ହେଲା, ତାର ବ୍ୟବହାର ଧୀରେ ଧୀରେ ବଦଳିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲା ।

୪. ଚିଡ଼ିଆଖାନାକୁ ସ୍ଥାନାନ୍ତର (Sent to the Zoo)

ଜେଜେବାପା ଟିମୋଥିକୁ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ନୌ (Lucknow) ଚିଡ଼ିଆଖାନାକୁ ନେଇଯିବା ପାଇଁ ସ୍ଥିର କଲେ ।

ସେ ତାକୁ ଏକ ଟ୍ରେନର ଫାଷ୍ଟ-କ୍ଲାସ କମ୍ପାର୍ଟମେଣ୍ଟରେ ନେଇ ଚିଡ଼ିଆଖାନା କର୍ତ୍ତୃପକ୍ଷଙ୍କୁ ହସ୍ତାନ୍ତର କଲେ ।

୫. ୬ ମାସ ପରେ ଜେଜେବାପାଙ୍କ ଚିଡ଼ିଆଖାନା ପରିଦର୍ଶନ (Grandfather's Visit After 6 Months)

ପ୍ରାୟ ୬ ମାସ ପରେ ଜେଜେବାପା ଲକ୍ଷ୍ନୌ ଯାଇ ଟିମୋଥିକୁ ଦେଖିବାକୁ ଚିଡ଼ିଆଖାନା ଗଲେ ।

ସେ ଏକ ପଞ୍ଜୁରୀ ଭିତରେ ଥିବା ଏକ ବଡ଼ ବାଘ ପାଖକୁ ଗଲେ ଏବଂ ତାକୁ ସ୍ନେହରେ ଆଉଁଶିଲେ, ତାର କାନ ଟାଣିଲେ ଏବଂ ମୁହଁରେ ହାତ ବୁଲାଇଲେ ।

ବାଘଟି ମଧ୍ୟ ଜେଜେବାପାଙ୍କ ହାତକୁ ଚାଟିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲା । କିନ୍ତୁ ପାଖ ପଞ୍ଜୁରୀରେ ଥିବା ଏକ ଚିତାବାଘ (Leopard) ବାରମ୍ବାର ଗର୍ଜନ କରି ସେହି ବାଘକୁ ଡରାଉଥିଲା । 

୬. କାହାଣୀର ଦୁଃଖଦ ମୋଡ଼ (The Tragic Twist)

ଜେଜେବାପା ଚିଡ଼ିଆଖାନାର ଜଣେ କର୍ମଚାରୀଙ୍କୁ (Keeper) ବାଘର ପଞ୍ଜୁରୀ ବଦଳାଇବାକୁ କହିଲେ ।
